Publisher Policy

MSP AI, LLC (“MSP”, “We” or “Our”) requires that all partner publishers adhere to this MSP Publisher Policy (the “Publisher Policy”) for content standards as part of the MSP Service Agreement (the “Agreement”) between Publisher (“you” or You”) and MSP. These terms are in addition to the Agreement. Any terms not defined herein shall have the definition set forth in the Agreement. MSP may update the Publisher Policy at any time by posting the updated version at this link: https://themsp.ai/publisher-policies. By continuing to use the Services (as defined in the Agreement), you agree to the updated Publisher Policies.

Shared Community Guidelines

Your Publisher Content may not contain or promote any of the following:

  1. illegal or illicit products, activities, or services; sexually explicit or other adult content, including pornographic or highly suggestive content or images, explicit, obscured or implied sexual acts, or explicit or implied sexual language;
  2. graphic or explicit violence, including assault/rape, injury to human beings or animals, or any acts or torture or terrorism;
  3. harassment, intimidation, bullying, excessive profanity, threats, or content that can be characterized as hate speech that advocates violence or discrimination against any group, organization, or individual; Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or substance abuse; weapons and weapon accessories, including guns, gun accessories or ammunition, and explosives;
  4. content that violates or infringes upon any third-party intellectual property rights, including the sale or promotion of counterfeit products, file sharing, torrenting, or other infringing content, or content that violates or infringes any other third-party rights, including confidentiality obligations;
  5. defamatory or libelous content;
  6. content that makes misleading, deceptive, or unrealistic claims, unreliable or harmful claims, or enables dishonest behavior;
  7. content that entices engagement under false or unclear pretenses, attempts to obtain personal information unlawfully or fraudulently, or trick users into sharing personal information;
  8. false news;
  9. internet abuse, including the use or distribution of viruses or spyware/malware, corrupted files, or other materials that could damage, render inoperable, or gain unauthorized access to any computer, device, network, or any of the associated data or personal information;
  10. promotion of black-hat hacking, cracking, or warez;
  11. significant unmoderated user-generated content; and
  12. content or material that offers traffic generation or promotes fraudulent traffic.
  13. other forms of shocking or disturbing content, including but not limited to graphic depictions of bodily functions, or grotesque images, footage, or audio.

CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR

Hateful Behavior

We do not allow:

  1. Content that mocks, shames, insults, or abuses individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, age, color, caste, national origin, immigration status, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, mental illness, disability, serious medical condition, socioeconomic class, or veteran status.
  2. Promotion or glorification of hate groups or their associated symbols and imagery as cataloged by reputable organizations.
  3. Denial of documented violent events targeting protected groups (e.g., Holocaust denial) or promotion of conspiracy theories to justify hateful ideologies.
  4. Claims of superiority of one group over another based on protected attributes.
  5. Deliberate misgendering or deadnaming of individuals.
  6. Inflammatory religious commentary intended to incite violence.

Editorial coverage of newsworthy incidents involving these subjects is allowed with relevant context.

Violent Extremism

Terrorists and related organizations are not permitted to use the Services for any reason, including recruitment. Content shared in editorial coverage of newsworthy events that do not promote terrorism, and where clear context is established, may be allowed. MSP does not allow:

  1. Content that glorifies, praises, or memorializes terrorist organizations or criminals.
  2. Advocacy or justification of terrorist or criminal activities.
  3. Content intended to radicalize or recruit for criminal or violent extremist groups.
  4. Use of key imagery that symbolizes terrorist organizations for praise.

Exceptions for educational, documentary, scientific, or creative contexts with clear, non-promotional intent.

Promotion of Illegal Activity and Regulated Goods

While we allow editorial coverage of newsworthy events, content that could directly facilitate or promote illegal activities is not permitted. MSP does not allow:

  1. Content that glorifies or promotes criminal activities, violent behavior, or human trafficking.
  2. Instructions for illegal activities like bomb-making or drug production.
  3. Promotion of illegal drugs, unapproved pharmaceuticals, weapons, ammunition, explosives, and other regulated goods.
  4. Exceptions for legal cannabis coverage and certain gambling activities where permitted.

Incitement of Violence

MSP does not allow:

  1. Content containing threats to kill, commit sexual assault, or harm others.
  2. Statements advocating violence or inciting violence towards specific people or groups.
  3. Removal of credible threats to public safety, including direct and conditional threats.

SAFETY

Promotion of Suicide, Self-harm, and Eating Disorders

We do not allow content that promotes suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or drug abuse.

Harassment and Bullying

We prohibit content that targets individuals with harassment, bullying, or threats, including sexual harassment and derogatory language. The sharing of Non-Consensual Intimate Visual Depictions (NCIVD), including AI-generated imagery, is strictly prohibited.

Promotion of Dangerous Acts

Content that encourages untrained amateurs to perform dangerous stunts or activities, posing risks to themselves or others, is not permitted.

Endangering Minors

Content that endangers or exploits minors, depicts violence against them, sexualizes them, or promotes dangerous activities is strictly prohibited.

Endangering Public Health

We do not allow:

  1. Health benefit claims without reputable sources.
  2. Promotion of consuming or inserting inedible objects.
  3. Non-expert health claims risk public health. Such claims include false cures or anti-vaccination advice.
  4. Misleading presentation of scientific, medical, or health information without proper context.

INTEGRITY AND AUTHENTICITY

We do not allow:

Misinformation and Disinformation

  1. Unsupported claims presented as fact.
  2. Unsubstantiated accusations of illegal or unethical behavior.
  3. Promotion of harmful conspiracy theories.
  4. Unproven rumors likely to incite violence or harm.
  5. Content falsely implying affiliation or endorsement.
  6. Manipulated media shared deceptively.
  7. Coordinated inauthentic behavior.
  8. Misleading quotations of religious texts.

Impersonation

  1. Accounts or articles impersonating individuals or entities (EG: news organizations) to deceive.
  2. Claims or quotes without proper citation or sourcing.

Spam

  1. Over-frequent or automated posts to increase viewership.
  2. Selling or exchanging accounts or permissions.
  3. Requiring engagement to access more content.
  4. Encouraging engagement for false promises.
  5. Deceptive use of engagement features to improve rank.
  6. Offers for off-platform goods/services disguised as comments.

Other Fraudulent Behavior (scams and deception)

  1. Content that actively deceives, misrepresents, defrauds, or exploits the community for personal gain.
  2. Instructions or promotion of cheating, scams, financial fraud, identity fraud, or unethical behavior.
  3. There may be exceptions for counterspeech or condemnation of such behaviors, provided other policies are not violated.

Election Interference

  1. Encouraging illegal voting or misrepresentation.
  2. Inciting violence to disrupt a peaceful transfer of power.
  3. Unsubstantiated claims questioning election integrity.
  4. Information designed to impede civic participation.
  5. False claims about election results that could interfere with the process.

SENSITIVE CONTENT

Violent and Gory Content 

MSP does not allow content that glorifies or incites violence or aims to shock or disgust without news value. News content must contain proper newsworthy context. Even then, graphic content should include proper warnings and avoid shocking users. We do not allow content that:

  1. Glorifies violent criminal or terrorist organizations.
  2. Shows violent crimes resulting in death or injury
  3. Exploits or shocks with footage of natural disasters, war aftermaths, protests, riots, or other violent scenarios.
  4. Displays gruesome human body parts, medical procedures, or bodily fluids to shock or disgust
  5. Depicts animal abuse or violence to shock, glorify, or promote cruelty

Adult Nudity or Sexual Content

MSP does not allow content that:

  1. Exposes female breasts, nipples, buttocks, or genitalia, and male buttocks or genitalia outside of context (e.g., beach, pool).
  2. Shows sexual objects, intercourse, or stimulation, including illustrated or animated.
  3. Discusses celebrity or personal sexual history without consent.
  4. Depicts disrobing or sexual behavior intended to arouse.
  5. Links to porn, adult, or x-rated sites.
  6. Focuses on genitalia in photos, paintings, or sculptures.
  7. Promotes human trafficking or compensated sexual acts.
  8. Solicits for sex, sexual partners, sex chats, or sexual imagery.

EDSA Exceptions

We may allow content that seems to violate our policies if it has clear educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic (EDSA) value. Examples include anti-bullying campaigns, historical documentaries, artistic comedy, and scientific nudity. Clear intent within the content is required for EDSA eligibility, but sensitive or harmful content may not be included in this exception.

CONTENT RIGHTS

Intellectual Property

MSP respects intellectual property rights and does not allow improper use. When posting, ensure the relevant parties have the rights to the content. We prohibit:

  1. Copyright infringement (plagiarism, music, unlicensed imagery, etc.)
  2. Trademark infringement
  3. Other intellectual property rights violations
  4. All imagery should be credited

Privacy

MSP prioritizes privacy and personal information protection and expects you to comply with all relevant privacy laws.
